Coed Llandegla is a 650 hecter sustainable forest and mountain bikers paradise set in the rolling hills of the Welsh boarder just 20min from Chester. Have a look at the centre's website here.

The stunning centre is a purpose-built log cabin, housing classroom, award winning cafe ('Best Breakfast in Wales'), bike shop, workshop and space to relax and enjoy the trail footage videos shown around the walls. This is also a great hub for walking, horse riding, bird watching and of course the famous Getafix REC first aid course! With over 40km of amazing MTB trails, don't forget to bring your bike for a quick lunchtime ride! Oneplanet attracts 170,000 visitors every year, and it's easy to see why.

Getafix first aid courses have been a regular event at the centre for a number of years now, and are rightly popular. The outdoor environment at Llandegla is ideally suited to the REC style, allowing us to stage realistic scenarios for you to face and build your confidence, skills and knowledge. You might even see a few real dislocated shoulders and broken collar bones on a busy weekend - this is North Wales' premier mountain biking spot after all!
