3 Day (27hr) Outdoor / Wilderness Advanced First Aid ‘Plus F’ & First Aid at Work

Our Advanced 3-Day course will improve your competence and confidence in the basic principles of first aid, whilst also introducing more advanced casualty management.

Be prepared to be challenged – 3 days that are both mentally and physically demanding. Designed for experienced outdoor professionals who operate in more remote and challenging environments. On this course we’ll work you hard, so when you leave you can be sure you’ll be able to deal effectively with the worst situations in the worst environments. 

We have been working on this programme over the past 7 years and are continually tweaking and perfecting it. We are very proud of our unique approach and are sure you will get the best out of your time with us

Covering everything in the 2-Day course, plus:

• stepwise approach to catastrophic bleeds, haemostatics and tourniquets
• high angle rescue considerations such as suspension trauma
• water-based rescue considerations including hydrostatic squeeze and autonomic conflict
• advanced environmental skills. 

This course can be tailored to suit Cycle, Land, Mountain or Water professionals – all our open courses cover all of these disciplines.

Suitable for any outdoor professional working across the full range of activities in the outdoor sector. 

It is also suitable for professionals lone working or working in remote area locations, for example, forestry, fisheries, oil and geology.
